In this subdivision:

1. I. "Intermodal transportation" means the movement of passengers from one mode of transport to another.
2. II. "Park and ride facility" means parking lots and related facilities, including terminals, intended for use by commuters, persons engaged in intermodal transportation, and persons sharing a motor vehicle by carpooling or vanpooling.
