The advisory council shall advise the department of education in the following areas relative to the implementation of the pre-engineering and technology curriculum:

1. I. Curriculum expansion and revision.
2. II. Curriculum eligibility requirements.
3. III. Curriculum quality.
4. IV. Fund raising from private and other sources.
5. V. Allocation of funds necessary for the curriculum.
6. VI. Evaluation of performance of pre-engineering and technology program sites.
