The commissioner may establish technical committees to advise him or her on technical issues. Each technical committee shall include personnel from all 3 branches of government who have experience in the specific issue that is the focus of the committee. These issues may include but are not limited to:

1. I. Hardware, software, and telecommunications standards.
2. II. Information technology planning process.
3. III. Development of statewide policies and procedures.
4. IV. Emerging Internet and "intranet," or limited network, technologies.
5. V. E-government strategy and deployment.
6. VI. Wide area network efficiencies.
7. VII. Cybersecurity.
8. VIII. Cloud technologies or strategies.
