1. State plumbing code defined. The board adopts, as the state plumbing code, the 2018 edition of the Uniform Plumbing Code published by the international association of plumbing and mechanical officials (IAPMO), to be known as the 2018 North Dakota Plumbing Code, including chapters 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 17; appendices A, B, C, D, E, I, and M; and chapter 62-03.1-03.

2. All plumbing as defined in North Dakota Century Code section 43-18-01, including materials, must meet or exceed the minimum provisions of this article and the North Dakota Plumbing Code.
