N.D. Admin. Code § 33-07-01.1-12
1. The general acute hospital shall have a written procedure to be followed in case of fire, explosion, or other emergency. It shall specify individuals to be notified, locations of alarm signals and extinguishers, evacuation routes, procedures for evacuating helpless patients, frequency of fire drills at not less than four fire drills per year per shift, and assignment of specific tasks and responsibilities to the personnel of each shift. The plan should be developed with the assistance of qualified fire and safety experts.
2. Primary care hospitals are subject to the disaster plan requirements for general acute hospitals in this section.
3. Specialized hospitals are subject to the disaster plan requirements for general acute hospitals in this section.
