1. (a) The North Carolina Acupuncture Licensing Board may initiate a disciplinary action against a licensed acupuncturist or applicant pursuant to G.S. 90-456.
2. (b) Upon receipt of a written request and substantiating information from any person in a position to present information as a basis for the action, the North Carolina Acupuncture Licensing Board shall conduct an investigation sufficient to determine whether reasonable cause exists to initiate disciplinary action(s).
3. (c) An opportunity will be given the person for a hearing before the Board at the next meeting.
