Before engaging in lobbying communications or activities with a designated individual, a lobbyist representing a single principal shall identify his or her principal by one or more of the following methods or by a method which provides a similar declaration of the identity of the principal in fact:

1. (1) An oral or written communication:

   1. (a) Using the word "principal"; or
   2. (b) Using the term "lobbyist for"; and

2. (2) An oral or written communication of the identity of the principal in fact by:

   1. (a) An oral and declarative statement identifying the principal;
   2. (b) The act of supplying a business card with the name of the principal;
   3. (c) Stating in correspondence the identity of the principal;
   4. (d) The act of placing the words "lobbyist for" and the identity of the principal in correspondence; or
   5. (e) The visible display of a name tag containing the identity of the principal.
