A notary public shall not perform a remote electronic notarial act if the act:

1. (1) is prohibited by G.S. 10B-20, 10B-22, 10B-23, 10B-134.3, or 163-231; or
2. (2) is an inventory of a safe deposit box as described in G.S. 53C-6-13(a).
