After an electronic notary public has complied with the requirements of Sections .0700 and .0800 of this Subchapter relating to review of signatures and seals after affixing them, the electronic notary shall:

1. (1) ensure that the required journal entry has been made;

2. (2) commit:

   1. (a) the notary's electronic signature;
   2. (b) the notary's electronic seal; and
   3. (c) the content of the journal entry; and
3. (3) apply the notary's digital certificate to the electronic record to which the notary has applied his or her electronic notary seal and signature.
