The Department shall provide:

1. (1) to the Register of Deeds in the county of the notary public's commissioning:

   1. (a) a certificate of appointment that includes the appointee's full legal name and the commission name of the appointee; and
   2. (b) a commission certificate in the commission name of the appointee to be used by the Register of Deeds to document that the notary oath has been administered to the appointee; and
2. (2) a duplicate commission certificate to a notary public, upon request to the Department.
