Filers who tender fees in person shall pay with:

1. (1) one of the following types of checks, made payable to the N.C. Department of the Secretary of State:

   1. (a) a personal or business check; or
   2. (b) a cashier's check;
2. (2) cash;
3. (3) money order; or
4. (4) a credit or debit card.
