1. (a) All shellfish growing waters shall be classified by the Division of Marine Fisheries as to their suitability for shellfish harvesting. Shellfish growing waters shall be designated with one of the following classifications:

   1. (1) approved;
   2. (2) conditionally approved;
   3. (3) restricted; or
   4. (4) prohibited.
2. (b) Maps showing the classification of shellfish growing waters shall be maintained by the Division.
