The regulations governing "Periodic testing of spill prevention equipment and containment sumps used for interstitial monitoring of piping and periodic inspection of overfill prevention equipment" set forth in 40 CFR 280.35 are hereby incorporated by reference, excluding any subsequent amendments and editions, except that:

1. (1) UST system or UST system component installations or replacements completed on or after November 1, 2007, shall meet the requirements of Section .0900 of this Subchapter.
2. (2) Tank owners and operators may use test methods and testing equipment approved by the US Environmental Protection Agency pursuant to 40 CFR 280.35(a)(1)(ii)(C) to meet the requirements of 40 CFR 280.35(a)(1)(ii).
