Agencies that have management control of a DCIN device shall institute controls for maintaining the sensitivity and confidentiality of all criminal justice information (CJI) provided through DCIN. These controls include the following:

1. (1) a DCIN device and any peripheral or network-connected printer shall be within a physically secure location, as defined by the FBI CJIS Security Policy, accessible only to authorized personnel. Any DCIN device not located within a physically secured location shall have advanced authentication measures installed and enabled; and
2. (2) DCIN training module documents shall be located in a physically secure location accessible only by authorized personnel.
