Effective July 1, 1998, all application equipment used to apply pesticides for wood-destroying organisms, other than compressed air sprayers of less than five-gallon capacity shall:

1. (1) have all hoses securely attached to the tank, pump, and other equipment components;
2. (2) be constructed so that the output pressure can be adjusted to meet the requirements of the pesticide being applied; and
3. (3) except for in-line injection systems, be equipped with a functional bypass flow agitation device.
