- (a) The North Carolina Agricultural Hall of Fame recognizes an individual born in North Carolina for outstanding performance in agriculture.
- (b) The North Carolina Agricultural Hall of Fame recognizes an individual who was not born in North Carolina but has become a citizen of this state and has performed outstanding work in agriculture while a resident of North Carolina.
