Each person acting as a pest control consultant as defined in G.S. 143-460(27) shall be licensed. The categories requiring a license shall include the following:

1. (1) agricultural pest control:

   1. (a) crop pest control;
   2. (b) livestock pest control;
2. (2) forest pest control;
3. (3) ornamental and turf pest control;
4. (4) aquatic pest control;
5. (5) right‑of‑way pest control;
6. (6) public health pest control;
7. (7) regulatory pest control;
8. (8) seed treatment;
9. (9) wood treatment; and
10. (10) soil and growing media fumigation pest control.
