Procedure for sale of property of lesser value

- (1) If personal property to be sold is valued at less than $2,500, it may be sold at either a public or private sale as the board of county commissioners determines to be to the best interests of the county.
- (2) If the property is sold at public sale, notice must be given as provided in 7-1-2121.
- (3) The board may, after a public hearing noticed as provided in 7-1-2121, adopt a policy for the sale of personal property valued at less than $2,500.
