Authorization to consolidate county offices

- (1) Except as provided in subsection (2), the board of county commissioners of any county may in its discretion consolidate any two or more of the offices named in 7-4-2203 and combine the powers and the duties of the consolidated offices.
- (2) The office of the justice of the peace may not be combined or consolidated with any other office other than another justice of the peace office.
