- (1) The director of finance has charge of the administration of the financial affairs of the municipality, including the keeping and supervision of all accounts; the custody and disbursement of municipal funds and money; the making of special assessments; the issuance of licenses; the collection of license fees; the control over expenditures; the purchase, storage, and distribution of supplies needed by the municipality; and other duties as the commission may by ordinance require.
- (2) The director of finance has all powers and shall perform all duties imposed upon county clerk and recorders and auditors by general law.
- (3) All of the provisions of the general laws of the state with respect to budgets for cities and counties apply to the municipality.
