- (1) Before any bridge constructed and maintained by the county in any city or town may be used as a part of any street or suburban railway, the owner of that railway shall pay into the county bridge fund a sum determined by the board which shall not be less than one-fourth or more than one-half of the cost of construction of the bridge.
- (2) During the time the bridge is used by the railway, the railway owner shall also pay such portion of the cost of maintaining the bridge (not less than one-fourth or more than one-half) as is determined by the board.
