- (1) Upon the filing of such petition, the commissioners shall carefully examine the petition.
(2)
- (a) If it is found that the petition is in proper form and bears the requisite number of signatures of qualified petitioners, the commissioners shall by resolution call for a public hearing on the dissolution of such transportation district.
- (b) If such petition is found by the commissioners to be lacking in the number of signatures, the commissioners shall declare the petition void.
