- (1) A board of county commissioners may create an authority encompassing an entire county or a portion of a county. Before creating an authority, the board shall pass a resolution of intention.
(2) The resolution must state:
- (a) the proposed name of the authority;
- (b) the proposed boundaries of the authority; and
- (c) the number of directors of the authority.
