1. (1)

   1. (a) A Class E motor carrier may charge a fare for the services provided to passengers in accordance with this section.

   2. (b) If a fare is charged, the motor carrier shall:

      1. (i) disclose to passengers the fare calculation method on its website or within the software application service; and
      2. (ii) provide passengers with the applicable rates being charged and the option to receive an estimated fare before the passenger enters the transportation network carrier driver's vehicle.

2. (2) Within a reasonable period of time following the completion of a trip, a Class E motor carrier shall transmit to the passenger an electronic receipt that includes:

   1. (a) the origin and destination of the trip;
   2. (b) the total time and distance of the trip; and
   3. (c) an itemization of the total fare paid.
