1. (1) If the department denies an application for a grant, the applicant may appeal the decision in writing to the director of the department.
2. (2) After considering the emergency medical service provider's appeal and the rules in place for reviewing and awarding grants, the director shall affirm or deny the appeal in writing.
3. (3) There is no further appeal if the director denies the appeal.
