1. (1) The Montana Business Corporation Act applies to statutory close corporations to the extent not inconsistent with the provisions of this chapter.
2. (2) This chapter applies to a professional corporation organized under the Montana Professional Corporation Act whose articles of incorporation contain the statement required by 35-9-103 except insofar as the Montana Professional Corporation Act contains inconsistent provisions.
3. (3) This chapter does not repeal or modify any statute or rule of law that applies to a corporation that is organized under the Montana Business Corporation Act or the Montana Professional Corporation Act and that does not elect to become a statutory close corporation under 35-9-103.
