A security interest that is enforceable immediately before October 1, 2025, but is unperfected at that time:

1. (1) remains an enforceable security interest until the adjustment date;
2. (2) remains enforceable thereafter if the security interest becomes enforceable under 30-9A-203, as amended by Chapter 200, Laws of 2025, on October 1, 2025, or before the adjustment date; and

3. (3) becomes perfected:

   1. (a) without further action, on October 1, 2025, if the requirements for perfection under Chapter 200, Laws of 2025, are satisfied before or at that time; or
   2. (b) when the requirements for perfection are satisfied if the requirements are satisfied after that time.
