Interest earnings from the distribution portion and the pension fund within the growth and opportunity trust are combined for the purposes of calculating the total amount of interest earnings and are distributed as follows:

1. (1) 50% pursuant to the accounts which comprise the distribution portion of the trust in the percentages set forth in 17-1-402; and
2. (2) 50% to the pension fund established in 17-7-135.
