- (1) Where a customer of whom a deposit is required transfers his service to a new location within the same utility's service area, within the state of Montana, the deposit, less any outstanding balance, shall be transferable and applicable to the new service location.
- (2) In the case of telephone utilities, the deposit is only transferable within the same exchange.
