1. (1) Residential habilitation, assisted living, provides 24-hour services and supports designed to ensure the health, safety, and welfare of a member and assist the member acquiring and improving behaviors necessary to live and participate in the community.
2. (2) Assisted living facilities must be licensed in accordance with ARM Title 37, chapter 106, subchapter 28.

3. (3) Assisted living includes the following service components:

   1. (a) personal care;
   2. (b) social and recreational activities;
   3. (c) medication management and oversite;
   4. (d) medical escort;
   5. (e) non-medical transportation;
   6. (f) meals; and
   7. (g) 24-hour onsite awake staff.
4. (4) A provider of adult residential care must report serious occurrences, as defined in ARM 37.90.403, to the department.
