Medical Assistance Medicaid Payment

Effective Mar 15, 2002Authorizing statute(s): 53-2-201, 53-6-113, MCA; Implementing statute(s): 53-6-101, 53-6-131, MCAState of Montana

(1) Medicaid will pay only for medical expenses:
1. (a) incurred by a person eligible for the Medicaid program;
2. (b) for services provided for and to the extent provided for under the Medicaid program;
3. (c) for which third party payment is not available;
4. (d) not used to meet the incurrment requirement at ARM 37.82.1101 and following rules for persons who are medically needy;
5. (e) which are not the cost sharing provided for in ARM 37.85.204; and
6. (f) to the extent allowed by Medicaid.
