1. (1) Investigations of eligibility will include securing information from the person applying for or receiving benefits and such other investigation as may be determined necessary by the department.

   1. (a) Each application for assistance will be promptly and thoroughly investigated by a staff member of the local contractor. If a case is picked for quality control review, the client must cooperate or be subject to reduced, suspended, or terminated benefits.
