1. (1) The recipient may request that home attendant services be discontinued or may request a change of home attendant. The social worker must act on this request.

2. (2) The department may, in its discretion and in accordance with these rules, terminate home attendant services to a recipient.

   1. (a) The social worker must inform the recipient both in person and in writing of the decision to discontinue services and the reasons.
