1. (1) Leisure and community activities must be provided in accordance with the performance requirements in this rule.
2. (2) A contractor providing adult or family services in the provision of leisure and community activities must comply with the performance requirements in this rule.

3. (3) The individual must be allowed the opportunity to choose community activities to participate in. The individual may choose the activities based on the individual's knowledge of the variety of activities occurring within the community.

   1. (a) The individual should be encouraged and assisted in experiencing a variety of enjoyable community activities.

4. (4) The individual must be allowed the opportunity to choose leisure activities to participate in. The individual may choose the activities based on the individual's knowledge of the variety of activities occurring within the individual's services and the community.

   1. (a) The individual should be encouraged and assisted in experiencing a variety of enjoyable leisure activities.
   2. (b) A variety of leisure activities should be available, based on the preferences of the persons receiving services.
