If a hospital provides an intensive care unit, the unit shall comply with the following requirements:

1. (1) When a patient is cared for in an intensive care unit, a licensed registered nurse shall be on duty.

2. (2) At a minimum, the following equipment and supplies must be available in an intensive care unit:

   1. (a) oxygen, oxygen and suction apparatus;
   2. (b) defibrillator, resuscitator and respirator;
   3. (c) emergency drugs.
