1. (1) This subchapter applies to forest practices conducted within a timber sale in the streamside management zone. Such practices, as defined at 77-5-302 (3) , MCA, include the following activities when conducted within a "timber sale" defined in ARM 36.11.312:

   1. (a) the harvesting of trees;
   2. (b) road construction or reconstruction associated with harvesting and accessing trees;
   3. (c) site preparation for regeneration of a timber stand;
   4. (d) reforestation; and
   5. (e) management of logging slash.
