1. (1) The following examination is approved for licensure as a physical therapist:

   1. (a) national physical therapy exam (NPTE).

2. (2) The following examination is approved for licensure as a physical therapy assistant:

   1. (a) national physical therapist assistant examination (NPTAE).
3. (3) The earliest date on which an applicant for examination may take the examination is the examination date nearest to and before the applicant's expected graduation date.
4. (4) Applicants must achieve a scaled score of 600 or higher to pass the examination.
