1. (1) If applying under ARM 24.139.501(1)(e)(ii), applicants must demonstrate at least 20 hours of training in any of the following areas:

   1. (a) perinatal support and education;
   2. (b) labor and birth education;
   3. (c) lactation and feeding support;
   4. (d) anatomy;
   5. (e) advocacy and communication;
   6. (f) ethics;
   7. (g) perinatal mental health;
   8. (h) grief and loss support;
   9. (i) trauma-informed care;
   10. (j) cultural safety.
2. (2) Applicants may take one training program or combine training programs to meet the 20-hour requirement.
3. (3) Applicants must submit certificates of completion for each program completed.
