1. (1) Applicants licensed in states determined to not have substantially equivalent licensing requirements as defined in 37-1-304, MCA, must:

   1. (a) attest to having worked at least the following number of hours if they have not completed a course of study described under 37-31-304, MCA, or an apprenticeship as described in ARM 24.121.621:

      1. (i) 2200 hours as a licensed barber;
      2. (ii) 1800 hours as a licensed barber nonchemical;
      3. (iii) 3000 hours as a licensed cosmetologist;
      4. (iv) 1200 hours as a licensed electrologist;
      5. (v) 1300 hours as a licensed esthetician; or
      6. (vi) 800 hours as a licensed manicurist; and
   2. (b) pass examinations as described in ARM 24.121.611.
