1. (1) While this Habitat Montana policy specifically relates to funds acquired under 87-1-241 and 87-1-242, MCA, the Montana fish, wildlife and parks commission directs that these guidelines also apply, where appropriate, to all of the department's wildlife habitat acquisition programs. These include:

   1. (a) moose and bighorn sheep habitat acquired with license auction funds;
   2. (b) properties acquired in mitigation for habitat lost as a result of construction projects conducted by the Bonneville power administration and other agencies;
   3. (c) waterfowl habitat.
