Regulation Governing Sanitation of Hotels and Motels
MISSISSIPPI DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH
4.1.1
hotels as defined in this Regulation
4.2.1
41-49-9, MS Code of 1972, Annotated
4.3.1
motel, tourist court, apartment house, rooming house or other place where
4.4.1
rooms in any such hotel/motel including halls and stairs, shall be kept clean and in
4.4.2
maintained in good repair
4.4.3
maintained in good repair and shall be capable of maintaining a temperature of at
4.4.4
Sleeping and toilet rooms shall have sufficient ventilation to keep them free from
4.4.5
of guests shall be at least 10 footcandles in guest rooms, stairways, hallways, and

Each hotel/motel shall be provided with adequate and conveniently located toilet
