Mo. Rev. Stat. § 29.405
Auditor's transition period defined
Effective Aug 28, 1977(L. 1977 H.B. 493 & 458)
The transition period shall begin on the fifteenth day of November following the election of an auditor who is not an incumbent and shall end when that auditor-elect has taken the oath of office.
