Mo. Rev. Stat. § 29.015
State auditor, term of office, term begins, when
Effective Aug 28, 1987(L. 1987 H.B. 456)
The state auditor shall hold office for a term of four years beginning at 12:00 noon on the second Monday in January next after his or her election and until a successor is elected and qualified.
