PURPOSE: This rule establishes requirements for obtaining crossover licensure by reciprocity.

1. (1) Reciprocity. Any person who desires a crossover license by reciprocity shall make application to the board and pay the applicable fee. An applicant is eligible for a crossover license by reciprocity if the applicant meets the requirements for both a barber license and the cosmetology license requested under the reciprocity rules governing each respective profession. Reciprocity applicants shall comply with all rules applicable to both barber and cosmetology reciprocity applicants.
