PURPOSE: This rule describes the instance where the director of the Missouri Department of Agriculture may authorize the purchase of growing cotton in the boll weevil eradication program.

1. (1) The director may authorize the Certified Cotton Growers Organization to purchase growing cotton when it is deemed in the best interest of the program. Purchase price shall be based on the United States Department of Agriculture, Farm Service Agency (FSA) farm established yield for the current year.
