PURPOSE: This rule explains the manner in which searches will be conducted during the transition period.

1. (1) During the transition period of July 1, 2001 to July 1, 2006, the secretary of state may provide public access to a database that produces search results beyond exact name matches. The supplemental database shall not be considered part of the standard search logic and shall not constitute an official search of the secretary of state.
