1. (1) When a parking meter is erected adjacent to a space marked for parking, the space shall be a metered parking zone, and a person shall not stop a vehicle in this zone for a period of time longer than that designated on the parking meter after depositing a coin of United States currency of a denomination designated on the meter on the days and during the time the regulations on the meter are in force.
2. (2) A person who violates this rule is responsible for a civil infraction.
