1. (1) Notwithstanding the provisions of part 8 of this code, and unless prohibited or restricted bytraffic-control devices, a bicycle may be parked as follows:

   1. (a) On the roadway at an angle to the curb or edge of the roadway at any location where the parkingof vehicles is allowed.
   2. (b) On the roadway abreast of another bicycle near the side of the roadway at any location where the parking of vehicles is allowed.
2. (2) In all other respects, a bicycle parked anywhere on a street shall conform with the provisions of part 8 of this code that regulates the parking of vehicles.
3. (3) A person who violates this rule is responsible for a civil infraction.
