Withdrawal of instructor approval.

(By authority conferred on the state board of education by sections 811a and 811b of Act No. 300 of the Public Acts of 1949, as amended, being SS257.811a and 257.811b of the Michigan Compiled Laws)Driver Licensing

The department shall withdraw an individual's approval to teach motorcycle safety education in either of the following situations:

(a) Notification is received from the secretary of state that an approved instructor has accumulated 7 or more points within a 1-year period for moving traffic violations.
(b) The individual does not meet the requirements set forth in R 257.1708.
