1. 1. Sale of fireworks prohibited Except for the sale of consumer fireworks under section 223‑A, a person may not sell, possess with the intent to sell or offer for sale fireworks.

2. 2. Value exceeds $5,000 If the value of the fireworks exceeds $5,000, a person who violates subsection 1 commits a Class B crime.

3. 3. Value exceeds $1,000 If the value of the fireworks exceeds $1,000 but does not exceed $5,000, a person who violates subsection 1 commits a Class C crime.
